Project Overview
The flat, unused backyard had no structure or interest. We terraced the slope with low timber edges, built layered perennial beds, laid a stepping-stone path, and finished with a fresh sod strip and crisp mulched edges.
⚠️ The Challenge
The sloped grade made the yard unusable and prone to washout during storms.

Terracing with retained edges leveled the space into usable zones, and amended soil with new sod gave the lawn immediate establishment and erosion control.
